MIST Privacy Policy

MIST was developed by GIDEON SOFTWARE as Open Source Software. This SOFTWARE (MIST) is provided by Gideon Software at no cost and is intended for use as-is. See the GPL3 for more information.

This Privacy Policy is used to inform visitors regarding Gideon Software's policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use this Software.

That information is used to connect to your email server(s) in order to place a copy of the email that you specify into TntConnect's history for the appropriate contacts. The requested information, along with all email imported, will be retained on your device and is not collected by Gideon Software, stored in the Software, or shared in any way. 

The Software uses third-party services (e.g. your email server(s)) which may in turn collect information used to identify you.

The Software's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Log Data

Whenever you use the Software, some data and information may be logged, called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your operating system version, the configuration of the Software, the time and date of your use of the Software, and other statistics and information.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This Software does not use these "cookies" explicitly. However, the Software may use third party code and libraries that use cookies to collect information and improve their services. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or any method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and reliable, and Gideon Software cannot guarantee its absolute security.

This Software may contain links to third-party sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. These external sites are not operated by Gideon Software. Children’s Privacy

This Software does not address anyone under the age of 13. Gideon Software does not knowingly collect personally-identifiable information from children under 13. Should Gideon Software discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, Gideon Software will immediately delete that information from all records. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided Gideon Software with personal information, please contact Gideon Software so that the necessary actions can be taken.
